The Caregiver Roadmap

Your Step-by-Step Career Plan.

Step 1: Application

  1. Fill out the Sign Up Form.

  2. Attend the Info Session.

  3. Fill out the Intake Form at the end of the Info Session.

  4. Take the Phone Interview

  5. Training Placement

  6. Attend the Orientation

Step 2: Education

  1. Complete the Training Hours:

    Track 1:

      • 72 hours paid Classroom Training

      • 72-hour paid On-the-Job Training with Caregiving Clients

    Track 2:

      • 36 hours paid Classroom Training

  2. Attendance in all classes is required to qualify for graduation.

  3. Attend the Graduation Ceremony and receive the Certificate of Training Completion.

Step 3: Profession

CWTP helps and supports students by providing assistance in job placement immediately after graduation.

  • Option 1: Become a Member-Owner of Vivid Life Home Care Cooperative

  • Option 2: Referrals to partner employers, or jobs through WorkSource

  • Option 3: May start as self-employed, direct-hire
