Instituted by the Pilipino Workers Center, the Caring Workforce Training Program’s mission is to redefine the caregiving industry by putting workers first. We believe that a high-quality care system begins with an equity-focused approach that values, trains, and empowers the professionals at the heart of our communities. By bridging the gap between education and career ownership, we ensure that caregivers are not just employees, but leaders and stakeholders in their own success.

Together, we provide best-in-class training, financial support through Workforce Equity Fund (WEF), and a clear pathway into caregiver-owned cooperatives. By prioritizing those impacted by economic disparities, we aim to transform the homecare industry by building a more resilient, just, and professionalized workforce for Los Angeles.
